The men and women of the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office are committed to protecting and serving the residents of Shelby County. This is more important now than ever before. Deputies will continue to patrol neighborhoods, respond to calls for service, investigate crimes, vehicle accidents and ensure public safety.
However, out of caution and to further implement the social distancing protocol being advised by state and national health officials, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office will make the following changes effective at 12:30 P.M. on Tuesday March 17, 2020.

The lobby will be closed to the public until further notice.

Deputies are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Shelby County Sheriff's Office is open Monday-Friday from 8:30a.m. - 4:30p.m. with the exception of Holidays​​
